Every now and again we might review a product or service on our site. If we believe it’s a good product, and the merchant selling said product or service has an affiliate program, we have no issue referring other people to a *good* product/service with an affiliate link, which means we might be paid a commission if you buy the product we recommend.

Why are we explaining this?

But the FTC feels we need to explain that in detail because otherwise, they think you might not be smart enough to see the difference between a real review and a made up review on your own. They think we might be willing to sell our reputation for an affiliate commission. They’re wrong. But we have to tell you anyway to cover our bases.
